About Me
My name is Camelia Johnson. I am a mom, teacher, and certified personal trainer. I used to train and teach group classes out of a big corporate gym before Covid 19 hit. Once Covid hit I decided to take my workouts online via Zoom. I've taken the same philosophies that I used in the gym, along with my educational experience and merged the two to create Extra Credit Fitness. Those philosophies center around training the whole person, not just the body. I do this by designing workouts using an educational framework called backwards design. I wanted to create a total body workout with a platform that teaches and empowers women. ECF is taking the fitness beyond the gym. It's a vessel for healthy lifestyle changes that stick. Extra Credit Fitness is your one stop for all of your fitness and nutritional needs. With our workouts you will get gym results without ever leaving the comfort of your own home! How? Every workout is designed to be a mixture of high/low intensity cardio, strength training, and body weight resistance. It's the perfect blend to get your body to optimal fat burning levels. Each workout utilizes a total body approach and no two workouts are ever the same; therefore the results are never stagnant. All you need to get started is a device with the Zoom app, two light weights, two heavier weights, and a cloth mini band. If you prefer to workout with a trainer one on one in person I also offer that service.
